At the 2023 Indonesia International Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances Exhibition, we showcased gas stove solutions developed with attention to Indonesia’s culinary traditions, household environments, and tropical climate. Indonesian cooking commonly features deep-frying, stir-frying, slow simmering, and the preparation of richly seasoned dishes—each requiring steady heat and appliances built for frequent, high-temperature use. These local characteristics shaped the selection and presentation of our products during the exhibition.
Key Features Designed for Local Needs
Consistent and Controlled Heat Output
To support dishes such as rendang, nasi goreng, and various regional soups, the showcased stoves emphasized stable flame performance suitable for both high and low heat cooking.
Durability for Warm, Humid Conditions
Given Indonesia’s tropical climate, materials with strong corrosion resistance and moisture tolerance were used to ensure long-term reliability in household kitchens.
Improved Oil, Heat, and Stain Resistance
High-frequency frying and sautéing produce heavy oil use. Surfaces were optimized for easy cleaning and resistance to oil accumulation and high-temperature exposure.
Clear and Practical User Interface
Many Indonesian families share kitchen tasks among multiple household members. Controls were designed for straightforward operation, with clear indicators for flame adjustment.
Insights Gained from the Exhibition
The event provided a clearer understanding of Indonesian consumer expectations, highlighting priorities such as long-term durability, simple maintenance, and consistent heating performance. Discussions with distributors and retailers also shed light on purchasing patterns and the growing demand for dependable kitchen appliances in urban and suburban areas.
